REHABILITASI PSIKOSOSIAL BAGI PENYANDANG DISABILITAS MENTAL DI RUMAH PELAYANAN SOSIAL DISABILITAS MENTAL MURIA JAYA KUDUS: Perspektif Psikologi dan Psikoterapi Islami

Abstract


The problem of mental disorders remains a persistent issue due to its complex nature. Handling of the problems of people with mental disabilities can be done through rehabilitation institutions, one of which is the Muria Jaya Kudus Mental Disability Social Service Center. This study aims to understand the description of rehabilitation services and their relevance to Islamic psychotherapy. This research is a descriptive qualitative study with data collection methods in the form of interviews, observation, and documentation. The first finding shows that rehabilitation is carried out through various activities carried out individually or in groups aimed at improving various aspects of life, both personal, social, and community. The second finding shows that Islamic psychotherapy is carried out to address the mental problems of people with mental disabilities. In addition, Islamic values are also contained in other rehabilitation activities. The findings of this study can be used as considerations for managers of social service institutions, rehabilitation practitioners, and policymakers in designing more integrative service programs that are responsive to the needs of beneficiaries.
