ANALISIS TINGKAT KESEHATAN MENTAL MAHASISWA TASAWUF DAN PSIKOTERAPI

Abstract


This study aims to explore and analyze the level of mental health among students enrolled in the Tasawuf and Psychotherapy study program. In order to achieve this objective, this study adopted a quantitative method with a total sampling approach, where all students in the study program were involved as respondents. The data collection process was conducted through a questionnaire designed to cover various important aspects, including spiritual serenity, academic pressure, self-confidence, social comfort, and support from friends and family. The results of this study showed that most students had a level of mental health that ranged from good to moderate. Spiritual serenity and social support were found to play a significant role in improving students' self-confidence and their ability to cope with the challenges that arise during their studies. However, despite these positive factors, high academic demands remained a source of stress for some students. From these findings, it can be concluded that Sufism and psychotherapy approaches can serve as effective methods in improving the mental health of university students. This research is expected to contribute to educational institutions in designing programs that better support students' mental well-being. By understanding the complexity of factors that influence mental health, institutions can take strategic steps to create a healthier and more inclusive academic environment. Overall, this study not only provides insights into the mental health condition of university students, but also highlights the importance of holistic interventions involving spiritual and social aspects in supporting their psychological well-being.
