Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study how batik SMEs in Bakaran Wetan Village can improve their competitiveness by using a different approach based on a SWOT analysis. Descriptive qualitative research was used for this research. In this study, observation and interviews with the owners of the roasted batik business were used as data collection methods. The IFE (Internal Factor Evaluation) matrix describes the company's strengths and weaknesses, the EFE (External Factor Evaluation) matrix describes the company's opportunity and threat factors, and the IE (Internal External) matrix shows the company's current position, used in the SWOT analysis. This. The total score of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats is calculated from the results of data analysis. Each factor gets a strength weight of 2.16, a weakness weight of 0.76, an opportunity weight of 2.44, and a threat weight of 1.08. The IFE matrix has an average total score of 0.84, while the EFE matrix has a total score of 1.36. Based on the findings of this study, the Development Strategy for Batik Tulis Bakaran to Increase the Competitiveness of Craftsmen occupies the first quadrant position. Several other strategies need to be carried out such as annual events, increasing the number of batik Bakaran agents to expand the market, and so on. In addition, new innovations are needed so that the UMKM batik Bakaran strategy can follow existing trends and attract customers. Both internal and external factors need to be considered if the industry is to be maintained.

Abstrak

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari bagaimana UKM batik bakar di Desa Bakaran Wetan dapat meningkatkan daya saing mereka dengan menggunakan pendekatan yang berbeda berdasarkan analisis SWOT. Penelitian kualitatif deskriptif digunakan untuk penelitian ini. Dalam penelitian ini, observasi dan wawancara dengan pemilik usaha batik bakar dijadikan sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Matriks IFE (Internal Factor Evaluation) yang menggambarkan kekuatan dan kelemahan perusahaan, matriks EFE (External Factor Evaluation) yang menggambarkan faktor peluang dan ancaman perusahaan, dan matriks IE (Internal External) yang menunjukkan posisi perusahaan saat ini , digunakan dalam analisis SWOT. Ini. Skor total faktor kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman dihitung dari hasil analisis data. Masing-masing faktor mendapat bobot kekuatan 2,16, bobot kelemahan 0,76, bobot peluang 2,44, dan bobot ancaman 1,08. Matriks IFE memiliki skor total rata-rata 0,84, sedangkan matriks EFE memiliki skor total 1,36. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian ini, Strategi Pengembangan Batik Tulis Bakaran untuk Meningkatkan Daya Saing Pengrajin menempati posisi kuadran I. Beberapa strategi lain perlu dilakukan seperti event tahunan, penambahan jumlah agen batik bakar untuk memperluas pasar, dan sebagainya. Selain itu, diperlukan inovasi-inovasi baru agar strategi UMKM batik Bakaran dapat mengikuti tren yang ada dan menarik pelanggan. Baik faktor internal maupun eksternal perlu dipertimbangkan jika industri ingin dipertahankan.
