Penguatan Moderasi Beragama sebagai Instrumen Hukum untuk Mencegah Konflik Sosial di Desa Wolo, Kabupaten Grobogan

Abstract


Wolo Village, known as Bhineka Village, is an example of a multicultural 

society with religious and cultural diversity. However, this diversity also has 

the potential to cause social conflict if not managed well. This service program 

aims to strengthen religious moderation as a legal instrument in preventing 

social conflict in Wolo Village, Grobogan Regency. The approach used includes 

legal education based on religious moderation, strengthening the capacity of 

community and religious leaders, and facilitating interfaith dialogue. The 

results of the service show that strengthening the values of religious moderation 

through legal instruments, such as village regulations and collective 

agreements, can be an effective solution for maintaining social harmony. The 

legal education activities carried out succeeded in increasing public 

understanding of the importance of religious moderation as a basis for building 

tolerance, solidarity and harmony between religious communities. In addition, 

interfaith dialogue involving religious leaders, village officials and youth 

succeeded in creating a constructive communication forum to resolve potential 

conflicts.
