Sosialisasi Pencegahan Pernikahan Dini di Desa Larikrejo Kecamatan Undaan Kabupaten Kudus

Abstract

Early marriage contributes to adverse health, educational, and socioeconomic outcomes. Community-based prevention through religiously grounded socialization can build collective awareness. A single-session community outreach was conducted on 22 August 2025 at the village hall, engaging ~30 participants (PKK members and residents). Activities included needs assessment, interactive lecture on religious moderation and life planning, and distribution of informational materials. Data were gathered through observation, informal interviews, and documentation; analysis used descriptive qualitative approach. The outreach fostered participant engagement and improved perceived understanding of risks of early marriage and the importance of education and readiness before marriage. Supporting factors were multi-stakeholder collaboration and clear role division; challenges included limited time and punctuality. Religiously informed, community-embedded socialization is feasible to strengthen awareness and align local wisdom with early marriage prevention. Sustained follow-up and broader stakeholder involvement are recommended.
